Snake Plant (Sansevieria)

striking and resilient houseplant celebrated for its architectural foliage and air-purifying qualities

Light:

Snake plants tolerate a wide range of light conditions but prefer indirect light. They can tolerate low light, making them suitable for offices and rooms with little natural light. However, they will thrive in bright, indirect sunlight.

Watering:

Snake plants are drought-tolerant and are more likely to suffer from overwatering than underwatering. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. During winter months, reduce watering frequency as the plant’s growth slows down.

Soil:

Use a well-draining potting mix for succulents or cacti. A mixture of regular potting soil with perlite or sand works well to ensure proper drainage.

Temperature:

Snake plants prefer temperatures between 60°F to 85°F (15°C to 29°C). They can tolerate cooler temperatures but should be protected from frost.
