Heartleaf Philodendron

a heart-shaped loving easy plant with glossy green leaves

Light:

Heartleaf Philodendron thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. Place the plant near a window with filtered sunlight or in a well-lit room away from direct sun exposure.

Watering:

Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when the soil feels dry, but avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. Ensure proper drainage, and empty the saucer under the pot to prevent waterlogging.

Soil: Plant Heartleaf Philodendron in well-draining potting soil. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and compost works well to provide good drainage and aeration for the roots.

Temperature:

Heartleaf Philodendron prefers temperatures between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). It can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures but should be protected from drafts and cold temperatures below 50°F (10°C).

Humidity:

Heartleaf Philodendron can adapt to a wide range of humidity levels but prefers higher humidity. Increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, placing a humidifier nearby, or grouping plants together.
